Lionel Messi received a hero's welcome as he made his Paris Saint-Germain debut in front of a raucous crowd - but the night belonged to team-mate Kylian Mbappe.
Messi, who joined PSG from Barcelona earlier this month, had to settle for a place on the bench as Mauricio Pochettino named him on the team-sheet for the first time since the move.The Argentine was forced to watch on as Mbappe stole the show against Reims, with the 22-year-old scoring both goals to send PSG top of Ligue 1.It might have been the Frenchman's name on the scoresheet at Stade Auguste Delaune, but the night will be remembered for Messi's first ever appearance for a club other than Barcelona.
