Libby Squire's depraved killer was snared by 'crucial CCTV', TV doc reveals

killer of Libby Squire was snared thanks to CCTV, a barrister has revealed.Pawel Relowicz, 27, raped and murdered the 21-year-old student before dumping her body in a river.In an upcoming true crime documentary, prosecutor Richard Wright tells how the film footage was key to securing a guilty verdict and making sure the sex beast wasn’t free to strike again.He said: “The CCTV material was absolutely crucial and we reviewed it over many hours in court, putting it into a timeline of events that demonstrated the movements of Relowicz and Libby’s movements both prior to their meeting that night and afterwards.”After a trial last year, Relowicz, right, was jailed for at least 27 years.

It meant Libby’s family finally had justice over her murder in Hull in 2019.Mr Wright added: “They knew the trial was not going to bring their daughter back.

It wasn’t about some sort of vengeance.
