Lewis Hamilton paid a poignant tribute to Queen Elizabeth II before joining the rest of the F1 fraternity for a period of silence ahead of practice at the Italian Grand Prix.The world’s longest-reigning head of state passed away at Balmoral on Thursday at the age of 96.
Seven-time world champion Hamilton met The Queen on numerous occasions and received his MBE from the monarch shortly after winning his first world title in 2008.
