Lewis Hamilton has defended using an expletive to describe the driving of F1 title rival Max Verstappen following their collision at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix in Jeddah.
The seven-time Drivers' World Champion, who picked up his third successive race victory to go level on points with the Dutchman, went into the back of the Red Bull car on turn 27.
Hamilton hit out at Verstappen on the Mercedes team radio to a fuming Toto Wolff, with his rival driver later being handed a 10-second penalty but holding on to a second-placed finish.Hamilton said on the team radio: “He just tested me under braking.
I just hit him, man, the wing is broken. He tested me on the brakes. I didn’t know what was going on."It was just dangerous driving.
