Lewis Hamilton’s comments on the death of George Floyd have been backed by Mercedes F1 boss Toto Wolff. The British driver, who has won the last three Drivers Championships, took to Instagram to slam the organisation for their silence in the protests.
A video of Floyd being handcuffed while a white police officer knelt on this neck before the American’s death has led to a furious reaction around the world.
And Hamilton, the only black F1 racer, condemned the organisation and other drivers for not showing their support. But the Brit’s boss Wolff has backed his racer’s stance.
