Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.
On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.

The Someone You Loved singer joined thousands of protestors at Holyrood Park in the Scottish city on Sunday (7 June) in memory of George Floyd, who died last month following a brutal arrest by police officers in Minnesota.Putting health and safety first amid the coronavirus pandemic, Lewis wore a black face mask and while he was accompanied by a group of friends, appeared to be socially distanced from other protestors.
At one point, Lewis and his mates stopped to take a swig from his water bottle before giving a thumbs up to fans. Lewis, 23, took part in Blackout Tuesday last week, which saw celebrities around the world share black.
