Andy Murray demands major changes as he discusses importance of Black Lives Matter

Andy Murray has called for greater equality in sport and society as he revealed he was educating himself over the Black Lives Matter movement.

The double Olympic champion joined his fellow players in taking the knee in tribute to George Floyd at the Schroders Battle of the Brits on Tuesday.

The Scot has not taken to social media to comment on the issue in recent weeks. And speaking after his first match since last November – a 6-2, 6-2 win over Liam Broady – the former world No.1 stated he believed equality is not "radical" but "a pretty basic human right" .
