Encountered at 13 years old by talent manager Scooter Braun after he had watched the boy's YouTube cover song videos, Bieber was signed to RBMG Records in 2008. Bieber's debut EP, My World, released in late 2009, made Bieber the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

LeBron James, Justin Bieber, Naomi Campbell, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Zoe Kravitz are among the stars who have expressed their outrage over the death of Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old man who was shot dead in Georgia by two men in February.
Mr Arbery was jogging in the Satilla Shores neighbourhood of Brunswick on 23 February when confronted by ex-policeman Gregory McMichael, 64, and his son Travis, 34, who believed he resembled a suspect in a series of break-ins in the area.
