A leading astronomer reckons aliens exist but they are most likely to be dumb little microbes without intelligence and not green-eyed superbeings.
Dr Sheila Kanani, of the Royal Astronomical Society, is convinced intelligent life will only be found on Earth. But she does hold out hope that there’s a small “chance” we’ll one day stumble upon clever aliens as we search space.
