Lateral flow tests: Scots urged to 'just refresh' webpage if LFTs unavailable

Scots are being urged to refresh their internet webpage if they are unable to order coronavirus lateral flow tests (LFTs) on the UK Government website.

Scottish Government ministers and health experts have asked people to take a test before leaving the house in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus.

Cases of the Omicron variant shot up over the festive period with Scotland recording its highest ever daily increase since the pandemic began in March 2020.

LFTs have been in short supply during Christmas and New Year with many struggling to get packets delivered, however UK Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi said people struggling to get lateral flow tests "should just refresh" their webpage.
