Kim Kardashian didn’t speak to ex-husband Kanye West for eight months during their turbulent divorce. During an appearance on Dear Media’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the 41-year-old opened up about their strained relationship and revealed that a couple took a break from speaking following her decision to file for divorce.The SKIMS mogul said: “We went about eight months without even speaking to each other at the beginning of the divorce.Mum-of-four Kim revealed that Kanye "would still see the kids" but that the two of them "just took a minute" of not talking to each other.Describing where the pair currently stand, Kim explained during the candid chat that they don’t really communicate but “Right now it’s good.”The aspiring lawyer confessed that they “have so much love for each other” and will “always cherish” the time they spent together.She added: “Sometimes it just doesn't work out for whatever reasons, but no matter what, I always just think of like the positive times."Kim, who shares children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and 2-year-old Psalm with Kanye, filed for divorce in February 2021, after nearly seven years of marriage.The reality star is now more loved up than ever with actor and comedian Pete Davidson with whom she went public with on Instagram last month.The couple had been linked together in early October after she appeared in a SNL skit with him.While playing Princes Jasmine and Aladdin, the pair sparked dating rumours after they shared a kiss at the end of the short skit.Kanye didn’t take lightly to the news of his ex-wife’s new relationship and continued to take aim at the couple on social media in several now-deleted posts.Alongside slamming their relationship, Kanye also filmed clips of himself.
