Kieran Tierney has heaped praise on Gabriel Martinelli, claiming his Arsenal teammate has the potential to become a world-class forward as he continues to develop.
18-year-old Martinelli has burst onto the scene for the Gunners after signing from Ituano - based in his native Brazil - last summer in a £6m move.
He has pounced on each opportunity he has been given, scoring ten goals and providing four assists despite only starting in 15 of his 26 appearances.
This impressive tally means the teenager is averaging a goal or an assist every 105 minutes that he is on the field. His versatility is another strength, as Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta have deployed him on both wings and up front over the course of the season.
