Brighton forward Neal Maupay stole a winner with nearly the last kick of the game as the Seagulls stunned Arsenal at the Amex Stadium and consigned them to a second defeat in a week.
Tempers frayed and social distancing was all but forgotten about in a dramatic conclusion to a game which the Gunners had largely dominated.
The visitors looked safely on course for victory after breaking the deadlock with 20 minutes to go through Nicolas Pepe, whose spectacular twisting strike earned him his ninth goal of the season.
But their lead didn’t last long as centre-back Lewis Dunk soon deflected in an equaliser after a well-worked corner ended in a goalmouth scramble.
