Christian Malcolm has urged Britain’s athletes to take the ‘no fear’ attitude epitomised by Keely Hodgkinson into the Tokyo Olympics.
Teen sensation Hodgkinson conquered Europe in her first senior championships, romping to European Indoor gold over 800 metres.
She did so by adopting the fearless approach that age is no barrier to achievement if you believe and don’t allow yourself to be intimidated.
The 19-year-old flew home from Poland yesterday with a team which won 12 medals, equalling Britain’s biggest ever haul at the championships.
