Kate Middleton "burst into tears" during a bridesmaids dress fitting ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, a new bombshell book about the Duchess of Sussex sensationally claims.

The story has been much debated. Originally it was claimed that 40-year-old Meghan reduced her sister-in-law-to-be to tears while Meghan refuted that version of events during her infamous interview with pal Oprah Winfrey.

And now biographer Tom Bower has offered his take in Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors which is published on Thursday 21st July.

Bower claims that unnamed sources informed him that Kate - who had welcomed her third child Prince Louis just weeks earlier - and bride-to-be Meghan had a disagreement about the length of Princess Charlotte's hem.
