Kate Garraway 'unsure if husband Derek will ever recover' from coronavirus battle
dailystar.co.ukGood Morning Britain host Kate Garraway has revealed she has concerns over whether her husband Derek Draper will recover as he remains in hospital following his battle with coronavirus.Derek was rushed into hospital in March last year after contracting the deadly virus and doctors told Kate his infection was the "highest they had seen in a patient who had lived".While he has recovered from the virus, his body has been seriously affected by it and he has been left with holes in his lungs and heart, plus diabetes.Derek remains in a coma and doctors have warned Kate, who is now bringing up the couple's two young kids alone, that he may never come out of it.Kate, 53, told on the 5 Years Time podcast this week, she is still unsure if Derek will.
