The star, who is best known for Mid Mornings with Kate Garraway on Smooth Radio, and GMB on ITV, was not on the show today when she usually hosts Friday mornings with co-host Ben Shephard.Fans immediately rushed to Twitter to wish her well and share their concerns as the 53-year-old broadcast journalist has been contending with the slow recovery of her hubby Derek Draper.Derek contracted the coronavirus last year in March and was rushed to hospital before being put into an induced coma.Kate has said he is recovering very slowly as the deadly virus left his heart and lungs scarred with holes.However, ITV.
