The Scots morning telly star spoke of her need to give Kate a ‘cuddle’ as her husband Derek Draper continues to battle the complications from the virus.
Derek, 53 has been in hospital since contracting the virus in March last year. Lorraine said that his plight made her realise the severity of the health crisis and hit back at those who dismiss how serious it can get.
She told the Sunday People : “When I interviewed Kate, she was able to come to the studios because we’re all in a bubble at work.
