Kate Garraway’s husband Derek ‘could have to learn to walk and talk and may have ongoing disabilities’, says Dr Hilary

Dr Hilary has warned that Kate Garraway's husband Derek Draper "could have to learn to walk and talk again" amid his ongoing coronavirus battle.

Despite the positive update, Good Morning Britain's Doctor Hilary told Lorraine Kelly that it's a "long road ahead" for her other half and could have "ongoing disabilities" due to the deadly virus.

He said: "Kate knows it’s a long road ahead for Derek. "What we also know is many, many people who’ve recovered from Covid-19.
