Kate Garraway admits she has been writing tragic diary about Derek's health battle
dailystar.co.ukKate Garraway made a heartwarming confession on Good Morning Britain today, as she revealed she has been writing a diary for her husband Derek Draper.Since Derek was admitted to hospital with coronavirus earlier this year, the 53-year-old presenter has been recording notes about the experience for his doctors to read.Derek's condition quickly became critical back in March, and while his body has been rid of the virus, Covid wreaked havoc on his internal organs.Speaking with a coronavirus survivor on today's GMB, Kate confessed the diary is a way for her to share information about Derek with the doctors and nurses who care for him.Writer Michael Rosen appeared on the show, discussing his personal battle with Covid, which left him near death.
