mirror.co.ukKate Garraway has given another update on her husband's fight against the effects of Covid-19 after an emotional visit to hospital on Monday evening.
The 53-year-old Good Morning Britain host revealed she has seen her husband Derek Draper again, days after he saw her on TV for the first time since waking from his coma on July 5.
She said it was a particularly "tough visit" and that she was "desperate for a step forward", but had been told by the doctor to be grateful Derek had not taken a step back.
She revealed it was "extra emotional" because it was their son Billy's birthday, and she had been thinking about when Billy was born and that Derek was present, but he was unable to be there now.
