The 52-year-old has been hospitalised since March, his body battling the aftermath of suffering Covid-19, as the virus wreaked havoc on his internal organs.Formerly in an induced coma, Derek has since been woken up and is in a state of "minimum consciousness" according to his concerned wife.In a heartwarming moment this morning, Kate revealed the nurses had switched on Derek’s telly, letting Good Morning Britain play in his room.She said: "The nurses had said they were going to put the show on this morning."Last week, Derek watched the show for the first time, as Kate went on: "They said they had put GMB.
