Bayer Leverkusen ace Kai Havertz could impact Liverpool’s potential bid to bring Philippe Coutinho back to Anfield. The Reds have regularly been linked with a move for the Brazilian, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Barcelona.
The Bundesliga giants have a £109m option to buy Coutinho at the end of his loan spell, though he has proved inconsistent during his spell at Bayern.
The 27-year-old has scored eight Bundesliga goals while also finding the net once in the Champions League. But Bayern have also been linked with a move for Havertz, and the German would prove to be a cheaper option than Coutinho.
