Marc claims customers are committing fraud by cancelling orders, despite their food being delivered, and claiming their money back.
He believes the problem is increasing, with more widespread use since the ‘scam’ was circulated online. Mr Faulkner, who is the director of the Deli Group, which owns Dentons Deli, Newton Deli and Kopi Coffee, says his recent stock-taking has revealed the sneaky ‘hack’ has hurt his business 18 times alone this month.
