Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Liverpool’s imminent title triumph is the furthest thing from his thoughts, as the Premier League was suspended.
The Reds boss spoke directly to his club’s supporters on Friday, to urge them to understand that nothing is as important as the health and safety of everyone connected to the club.
A number of cases of Coronavirus at clubs across the country forced the Premier League to decide, at an emergency meeting, to postpone all operations until April 4.
That means games will be put on hold, raising the distinct prospect that if the fixture list is not resumed, then Liverpool could miss out on their first title in 30 years.
