Barcelona presidential candidate Jordi Farre says he held talks with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp over becoming their new manager.
The Catalan club have been thrown into crisis by their latest Champions League humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich. Both manager Quique Setien and technical director Eric Abidal were sacked by president Josep Maria Bartomeu, but his term will come to an end next spring.
Farre is amongst those vying to replace him - and he says he has already sounded out Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as the man to turn around the club, despite the appointment of Ronald Koeman last week.
