It follows summer signing Scott Fox’s season-ending ACL injury in pre-season. Now boss Stephen Robinson has turned to former Millwall keeper Archer - capped twice by Scotland - to fill the void.
Robinson said: “To be able to bring in a ‘keeper of Jordan’s quality is fortunate and he will challenge Aaron Chapman for the jersey.
