A self-employed joiner has blamed a pork scratching for a bout of salmonella that left him seriously ill in hospital. Sebastian Thornton, 37, says he was passing blood and had cold sweats after he ate the crunchy snack as part of a Thai meal.
Thousands of Mr Porky pork scratchings were recently recalled following concerns of a salmonella outbreak at the Tayto factory, in Westhoughton.
