The clash happened after Barnsley beat Barton's Fleetwood Town 4-2 in a League One match in April 2019.Barton, 38, who now manages League Two club Bristol Rovers, denies assault causing actual bodily harm.Ian Goldsack, prosecuting, said there had been between tension.
