Jet2 cancels all flights to the Balearic Islands for remainder of summer

Jet2 has cancelled all flights to the Balearic Islands this summer. And it has extended the suspension of package holidays and flights to mainland Spain and the Canaries until September 13.

Previously it had suspended resuming flights to the popular holiday destination until the end of August. Brits visiting Spain or the Spanish Islands must self-isolate for 14 days upon return.

The destination was stripped from the 'safe' travel list last month following a surge in cases. Jet2 has also cancelled all package holidays to Croatia until September 14.
