Jeremy Kyle Show bosses have been accused by former staffers of grading each episode depending on how "high conflict" its content was.
The show was axed after a 14 year run in 2019, after the suspected suicide of former guest Steve Dymond. And now staff who worked on it have alleged that bosses had a ranking system that put them under "insane" pressure to produce the most shocking episodes.
They claim that this system ran from A to D. A former producer explained to The Daily Star : "An 'A' show would be a high conflict show – not physical, but something where it goes off, there's lots of storming around the studio, lots of heightened emotions, lots of shouting…when they come on and they are immediately kicking off.
