James McClean has taken aim at football's authorities over the perceived lack of support he received after being subjected to 'more abuse than any other player'.
Stoke star McClean made the point in wake of the vile racist messages sent to Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha and Sheffield United's David McGoldrick on social media.
Zaha and McGoldrick have received support and solidarity from across the sport, with a 12-year-old boy arrested in the case of the Palace forward.
But McClean feels that level of support has not been reciprocated when he has received abuse over his refusal to wear the poppy throughout his career.
