Wilfried Zaha has urged social media companies to require more details to set up accounts to avoid "stupid, racist cowards" being able to set up anonymous profiles.
The Crystal Palace winger was racially abused online ahead of the defeat at Aston Villa on Sunday, with a 12-year-old boy arrested by police investigating the messages.
On Monday, Zaha, 27, said it was "not the first time" he had received such messages and called for social media companies to "seek out" those responsible for racist activity on social media.
