Celtic have been linked to the forward, who McAnthony admits is likely to leave London Road this summer. Last week Posh director of football Barry Fry claimed a club had met their valuation of Toney and that club was not the Hoops.
But McAnthony stated on Twitter that an unnamed Scottish club has submitted an offer - although declined to say whether it was Celtic or rivals Rangers, who have also been linked with the player.
He said: "Look, we have had multiple bids for him from Prem/Champ & one from Scotland. As expected. I wont go into who etc as thats private.
