The ITV programme returned with hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls but fans were taken aback to find that presenter Andi Peters had been flown all the way to Australia to promote ITV's "biggest competition" of the year, which includes a luxury car and a massive £250,000 prize.
Andi announced: "It is our biggest ever Christmas prize- it starts with £135,000." Instead of excitement, fans were left perplexed by Andi's appearance in Australia, especially after weather presenter Laura Tobin had emphasized the importance of reducing carbon footprints just the day before.
Fans took to X to express their discontent, with one stating: "@andipeters is lording it on other side of the world, @ITV taking us for mugs," reports the Mirror.
