Good Morning Britain audiences were deeply moved, with many sharing they shed tears during the show's emotional segment. On Wednesday's instalment of the beloved ITV breakfast programme, hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Medley honoured Liz Hatton, who bravely battled cancer for 10 months.

Her mother, Vicky Robayna, and younger brother, Mateo, joined them on the show. Liz, a courageous 17 year old from Harrogate, passed away late November, having previously touched the hearts of the Prince and Princess of Wales and making headlines for her touching embrace with Kate Middleton at Windsor Castle.

Mateo, barely concealing his own tears, lauded his sister's remarkable spirit on live TV. She was just outstanding, he told the presenters.

His tribute continued with raw emotion, describing her incredible strength: "I can barely even explain to her and that's just out of this world how I am talking right now.
