Fans took to social media tonight (Friday January 10) to complain about Anthony Fox. Anthony Fox joined the Dales in 2024 and was introduced as Ruby Fox-Milligan's estranged father.
He arrived in the village with Ruby's daughter Steph, and the pair announced they would be staying for the foreseeable. Fans of the ITV soap were left watching in horror as a flashback scene in one episode highlighted that Ruby had been subjected to abuse from her father when she was a teenager.
Unbeknownst to her family, Ruby begins to struggle with the memories resurfacing, but her problems began to escalate once she revealed to Chas that Steph might not be Caleb's daughter.
