When the country first went into lockdown in March, beauty salons were some of the first places to shut shop. Unfortunately, because of the close-contact services they provide, they were one of the last to reopen too.That meant treatments like eyebrow threading, dermal fillers, lash extensions and facials were off the table, until 15 August when Boris finally announced that beauty salons could open once again.
Slowly but surely – with strict guidelines, temperature checks and personal protective equipment – hairdressers, nail technicians and beauty therapists have been able to resume business as usual.
But despite the protection of PPE, many are wondering if there is still risk involved with these treatments and if there are ways of making.
