Horror unfolded on a Salford street last night after a balaclava-clad gang with machetes 'petrol bombed' a car in a terrifying arson attack.
Emergency services were called to a car fire outside a block of flats on Wroe Street just before 10.45pm on Tuesday (April 27).
The window of a property was also damaged in what police say was a targeted incident. The MEN understands one line of inquiry into the attack is a dispute between a local gang.
Those living in the area described seeing three men arrive on the street on bikes. They were carrying what appeared to be machetes and baseball bats.
