Irish republican processions to take place across Scotland this summer

Glasgow on Saturday, July 31. The Alliance has received permission for the march from Glasgow City Council and will begin from Frankfield Street.

It comes as public processions have been cancelled over the past year due to high lockdown levels across the country.However, as First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announces plans to ease restrictions, many more have been applied for.The Royal Orange Institution Govan District 42 have applied for a parade of 500 people to lay a wreath on Govan Road on Saturday 3 July.Meanwhile, the Bridgeton Orange and Purple District 37 has planned for a procession of up to 120 people, also.
