Lisa Schwartz, the longtime IFC Films co-president, will step down at the end of the year, AMC Networks said on Thursday. Schwartz led IFC Films’ foray into streaming with the IFC Films Unlimited online video channel and earlier launched the Sundance Now subscription video on demand service as she led the company from movie theaters to the emerging streaming space. "I’m very proud to have been a part of the leadership team that forged ahead and accomplished the incredible success the business has achieved, particularly over the past couple of years.
I look forward to taking that spirit of innovation and creativity with me into my next chapter," Schwartz said in a statement.
