Soho Hotel.I’ve made the choice to stay closer to home this year, even when travel bans have been lifted. Consequently, I’ve reviewed quite a few top suites in and around London – each seemingly bigger, bolder and swankier than the last.
But the Soho Hotel’s just-revamped top floor Terrace Suite has been my favourite and reminded me how reliably enjoyable the hotel is.Long a fan of Firmdale, the hotel group it belongs to, I have stayed, dined or clinked wine glasses with friends in almost all of them (there are seven in London and two in New York).
And most importantly, I’ve slept incognito in much smaller rooms and been made to feel as welcome as I have when checking into a top suite.Understated, efficient and friendly service is.
