A teenager who brought a knife into school stabbed a fellow student in the classroom in a horrifying 'revenge' attack. The 13-year-old boy attacked his victim, 14, with a pair of scissors after harbouring a 'grudge' against him.

The boy, 13, claimed the other boy had pushed him the day before. After the appalling incident the boy also confessed to a teacher that he had a knife in his bag.

Manchester Crown Court heard that prior to the stabbing, the defendant was on the corridor of the Greater Manchester high school while peering into the classroom, where the victim was sitting an exam with other pupils.
