S CLUB singer Jo O'Meara revealed she nearly died after suffering from a strangulated bowel on tour in New Zealand. The pop star, 43, was rushed to hospital back in 2016 when the blood supply to her bowel was cut off.

Recalling the health scare on Scott McGlynn's Celebrity Skin Talk, she said: "I got a strangulated bowel on a plane and I had to be rushed into surgery. "It nearly killed me, to be honest.

I was in hospital for a really long time. "They wouldn't let me fly home because I was so poorly. I then found out a trauma can help bring on adult acne, which I didn't know existed until I had it myself. "It's so horrible as there is not a thing I could do about it." .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-u6yh49{background-color:rgba(246,242,249,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
