ok.co.ukAdele Roberts has been diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 42.The Radio 1 DJ and former I’m A Celebrity star took to Instagram on Sunday night to announce the news, revealing she is going to have surgery on Sunday to remove the tumour.Thanks to finding the tumour early, Adele has confirmed her outlook is “positive” and encouraged people to see their doctor if they have any symptoms. “Ok, there's no easy way to do this and it feels weird, especially posting on social media (I'm going full Black Mirror) but I'm hoping it'll reach anyone who might benefit from seeing it or reading it,” she wrote alongside a picture of her in a hospital gown with her thumbs up to the camera.
