SPICE Girl Mel B took the Tory conference by storm last night as she demanded action on domestic abuse. Speaking at a Sun and Women’s Aid event in Birmingham, the star recounted her hell living with her abusive ex and asked: “How many more must die?” Spice Girl Mel B yesterday recounted her ten-year domestic abuse hell — revealing how her ex left her “powerless”.
But brave Mel, 47, said of her relationship with Stephen Belafonte: “I’m a survivor, not a victim.” She held back tears as she shared her story at a Speak Out event hosted by The Sun and Women’s Aid.
She also called on ministers to better fund abuse support services.
