Hundreds of Tameside youngsters to benefit from school holiday food and activities

Fuel 4 Fun has been launched this Easter and will run in each school holiday period until March 2022. The scheme will provide free school holiday activities, healthy lunches, sports activity bags and take-home family food boxes to more than 400 children aged five to 13.

Dan Higgins, from Active Tameside, said: "Fuel 4 Fun is a fantastic initiative that allows us, along with our key stakeholders within the local authority, to support young people using sport and physical activity as an engagement tool whilst educating them around healthy eating. “G
