Hundreds of islanders join Christmas parade to celebrate woman's 100th birthday

Hundreds of people on a small island have got together for a Christmas parade past the house of neighbour for her 100th birthday.

Ellen Fadian celebrated the milestone, but could not have a big party because of coronavirus restrictions. She has spent her whole life living in Dooagh, on Achill, an island on the west coast of Ireland.

Her neighbours decided to rally together to show their support for the now-centenarian woman. They organised a procession of over 100 cars to drive past her house and wish her a happy birthday.
