‘The nicest porter in Ireland’ John Doyle was among the frontline workers to receive the COVID vaccine on air during Friday’s Late Late Show leaving viewers ’emotional.’ John first came to our attention on the Late Late Toy Show back in November as the hospital carer and best friend of Adam King who captured the nation’s heart with his dream of going into space.

John we learned took special care of Adam while he was undergoing treatment in hospital but with everything that has been going on wasn’t able to see his little friend until they were reunited on the Toy Show.

As he got the vaccine on Friday, Adam was cheering him on at home and his family shared his sweet message on social media which read: ‘Go JD!
