Victor Lindelof named Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo as his number one pick for FIFA's TheBest player as the 36-year-old missed out on the top three for the first time since the award's inception.
Robert Lewandowski became the first player since the Portugal captain to win the award back-to-back after the Poland skipper scooped the accolade last year.
Ronaldo's rival Lionel Messi was narrowly beaten by the Pole with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah finishing third, with the former Juventus attacker voting for Lewandowski.
The United star did pick up an award as he was given a special #TheBest accolade for breaking the men's international scoring record.
